CRT arrived at the basin this morning to insert stop planks in the gauging lock.
These will remain in place until we have some significant rain and water levels in the feeder reservoirs recover. In the meantime this will give us the chance to monitor leakage from the basin and if the water level drops low enough we will be able to ascertain the amount of silt that has accumulated since the basin was re-watered in 2005.
