6th August | In search of the Runcorn and Latchford Canal A pleasant circular ramble along this lost canal on Wigg Island, with views of the Manchester Ship Canal, returning via the Bridgewater Canal. Led by Beth Knight |
Weekend away 24th & 25th September | The Somerset Coal Canal Third time lucky! Having been invited back after 20+ years to see the progress the group have made this has been postponed twice, hopefully we will finally make it down there this time. We hope to include a visit to Claverton Pumping Station on the Kennet and Avon canal. Led by Derrick Hunt |
